Sadly we have insufficient connection time for a trip along the GN/GE Joint Line to Yellerbelly Country. We find ourselves venturing into East Yorkshire again with a trip on the 20:43 Northern service to Hull arriving 21:47 on Monday

We decide to visit the area where the colliery waste heave left the rail tracks looking like a ride on Blackpool Pleasure Beach for some period before Network Rail restored matters to normal, so we board the 2220 Northern service to Hatfield & Stainforth that arrives there at 2305 on Monday evening.

Much to our surprise there is onward transport in the form of the 2326 Northern service to Goole, arriving at 2343 Monday evening

We find ourselves in less than salubrious surroundings for the night. :(

Still we only have to wait until the first train of the day, the 05:46 Northern service to that utopian paradise :| of Rotherham Central arriving at 06:46 Tuesday morning.

We take the 08:39 East Midlands Trains Rail Replacement Bus service to Nottingham, arriving 10:25 on Tuesday.

(This is down in the timetable as running as this for the duration of the engineering at Nottingham. I'm hoping that it is deemed as acceptable for the purpose of this game)

Timetables
You should use the current timetable for the relevant day not including timetable variations for engineering works. You may use regular timetabled services which you even if boarding is only possible subject to availability (including National Express coach, the Caledonian sleeper and the Jacobite steam train but not railtours).

This is the section of the rules that refers to this matter.

Whilst the bus station is quite close, it's too far for this quiz and no bus service goes to the rail station

So we take the 1250 EMT service to Heckington where we arrive at 1304 Tuesday afternoon

If it were Wednesday then i'd have waved to you...

As the services usually cross here we have time to wait. So we adjourn to the tearooms at the adjacent, and famous, Heckington Windmill for refreshment. Maybe get a carry-out from the 8-Sail Brewery on the same site

Returning to the station we continue our westward journey by boarding 14:04 EMT service for the short trip to Sleaford arriving at 14:12 on Tuesday afternoon

From one cathedral city to another, and a location with a tram network - unlike Lincoln, as we depart on the 15:24 Northern service to Sheffield arriving 16:48 on Tuesday

Our arrival is timely as we don't have long to wait until our next departure - the 18:19 Northern service to Knottingley arriving 18:35 on Tuesday

We take the 2034 Northern departure to a destination with a much wider range of travel opportunities - Leeds, where we arrive at 2108 Tuesday evening

The last Scarborough and District service 17 of the day takes us from the stop known as Seamer Station Eastfield at 2326, from where we travel as far as Osgodby Post Office, arriving at 2339 Tuesday evening

East Yorkshire also claim to run the service at 2324/2336

We can find no suitable onward transport from this location tonight so settle down and await the first bus of the following morning.

We board the 06:28 Scarborough & District 7 service to Seamer Railway Station arriving 06:39 on Wednesday morning.

We have a fair amount of time wait in the location...not the most exciting of stations either! We escape by boarding the 10:13 Northern service to Scunthorpe arriving at 10:47 on Wednesday.
