The 'short walk' is 7 minutes according to Traveline - OK I know they are cautious but it shows they are definitely different stops and hence not allowed.

Having made that walk from the railway station to the bus station in real life many years ago, I tend to agree with your explanation.

Unfortunately, as we remember that the bus station is four minutes walk from the railway station and cannot be considered, we have no option but to board the 2018 FGW service to Truro that arrives there at 2100 on Thursday evening.

There are bus stops on both sides of the road outside this railway station, but the time of arrival could possibly obviate an onward omnibus mode of travel.

We find ourselves in a most fortunate position to seek overnight accommodation and ask for an early morning alarm call in order to catch the first bus of the day from the hotel which enables us to board the 0633 Western Greyhound service 524 to London Apprentice that arrives there at 0645 on Friday morning.

We now take the chance to journey to a rail served town as we board the 07:16 Western Greyhound 525 service that drops us off at Par Railway Station arriving 08:05 on Friday morning.
