We continue our travels around Kernow by joining the 16:30 Western Greyhound 555 service and alighting at Egloshayle (Church) arriving 16:58 on Friday.

We continue on the "555 travelogue" by boarding the 1848 Western Greyhound service 555 to Padstow (Sarahs Lane) that arrives there at 1920 on Friday evening.

I have scoured all the bus timetables for services out of Wadebridge bus station that depart after this last one and the only one that I can trace is the 2055 Western Greyhound service 555 to the Bodmin area, but I see two drawbacks...
1)..That connection time of only three minutes is less than the five minutes minimum connection time stated in the quiz rules.
2)..This is the same bus as the last one.

Not just the opportunity to escape from the 555 service (remember the 3 and 3A service saga in Scarborough recently), but Cornwall, as we enter the railway station to board the 0746 XC service to Alnmouth that arrives there at 1558 on Saturday afternoon.

Time to have a cursory but brief view of this West Somerset Railway station as we are far too early to avail ourselves of their services then we return to the bus stop to board the 0832 First in Bristol, Bath and The West service 28 to Minehead (The Parade) that arrives there at 0857 on Monday morning.

A change of operator sees us board the 1105 Filers Transport service 300 to Chambercombe (Hele Bay Hotel) that arrives there at 1216 on Monday afternoon.

We continue our journey by road, sadly trains no longer run along this wonderful coastal area, by boarding the 13:42 Stagecoach South West service 21A to Bideford (Quay) arriving 14:31 on Monday.

We decide to visit one of the few settlements that has a exclamation mark in its title that just falls neatly into the five-minute connection ruling as we board the 1436 Stagecoach South West service 21 to Westward Ho! (Youngston Road) that arrives there at 1456 on Monday afternoon.

Noting our location, we see that we are afforded an opportunity to take a trip down the Tarka Line, so having entered into the railway station we board the 1708 FGW service to Copplestone (notifying that we wish to disembark at this request stop) that arrives there at 1750 on Monday afternoon.

We see that the village pub is one of the hostelries that are part of the Tarka Line Rail Ale Trail. It takes us about 10 - 15 mins to walk to the pub, just in time for opening. We relax with a pint of real ale before making our way back to the station (allowing enough time before the train arrives).
As it is a request stop we signal our intention to join the train. We continue on the 18:55 FGW service through to its terminus at Exmouth arriving at 20:03 on Monday.

We stroll on down to the river and look over the water towards the estuary before returning to the station to board the 2104 FGW service to Topsham that arrives there at 2116 on Monday evening.
