We are undecided at first as to the onward mode of travel, with options being available here, but the lure of the omnibus is far too strong, so we board the 2230 First Bradford service 576 to Catherine Slack (Queensbury Road/Swales Moor Road) that arrives there at 2255 on Friday night.

We find that onward transport is still available to us. So we wait half an hour and catch the 23:25 First WY 576 to Halifax Bus Station, arriving at 23:36 on Friday night

May I remind you to put the stop name after the settlement?

Another reminder would also be to show the concurrently-running "quiz" day at the end of every posting

We take the 15:48 Maytree Travel route 495 to Simister, Farmer's Arms, arriving 15:55 Saturday

My congratulations to you on using the last service to Simister (Farmers Arms) on a Saturday and there is no service on a Sunday from there also. Not since I trapped DanTrainMan185 at Smoo Cave on the north-west coastline of Scotland very many months ago, has this been achieved. Since we cannot use the service we arrived on to go back on, nor can we make the very long walk to the nearest Manchester Metrolink station, according to the rules of this quiz, we are stranded in Simister until early Monday morning.

We book in for the weekend at the Farmers Arms to ensure we have both sustenance and a bed to see us over the weekend, then after a hearty breakfast on early Monday morning, we return to the bus stop and board the 0800 Maytree Travel service 495 to Prestwich (Rectory Lane/Longfield Centre) that arrives there at 0814 on Monday morning.
