Bradford Exchange? I take it you mean Bradford Interchange (as it is now)?

If so, we have time to get a bite to eat before boarding the 15:10 Arriva West Yorkshire 268 which we take to Cleckheaton Bus Station, arriving at 15:42 Wednesday afternoon

After fish and chips from the chippie just adjacent to Todmorden Bus Station, we are thirsty again, and remember that "The Railway" in Hebden Bridge serves an excellent pint of Black Sheep bitter, so jump on the 2200 First Calderdale & Huddersfield service 590, to Hebden Bridge, where we arrive at the stop on New Road at 2217, Wednesday evening.

I had a feeling you might go there!

As I understand the rules, we cannot board a service we've just left, so we're stuck in the delightful countryside of Blackshaw Head for the night.

Fortunately, the New Delight Inn still has a room available, which we gratefully take, and leave in the morning, having decided that whilst we're in the area we'll pay our respects to Sylvia Plath, buried in Heptonstall churchyard, So we board the 0645 First service "E" to Heptonstall Longfield, arriving at 0653 on Thursday morning.

After our visit to the churchyard where we recalled the marriage of Sylvia Plath to Ted Hughes and of their different contributions to poetry, we make our way back to the bus stop in anticipation of the journey down the steep road to the main road and we board the 0748 First Calderdale and Huddersfield service 591 to Friendly (Burnley Road) that arrives there at 0818 on Thursday morning.

After starting conversations with one or two passing locals, to see if they really are what the name of their habitat suggests, we decide we can't leave the area without paying tribute to Sylvia Plath's partner, Ted Hughes.

So we board the 0840 First Calderdale & Huddersfield service 593[destination "Old Town"], back up the valley to Mytholmroyd, where we alight opposite the Dusty Miller pub at 0853, to see Ted Hughes' birthplace - 1 Aspinall St. [It's Thursday morning, by the way].

I can't find a Wuerdale, I'm afraid. Did you mean Wuerdle?
That seems to fit, so assuming that was your intention, we then board the 1036 First Calderdale & Huddersfield 589 service from Halifax Rd/Mount Ave Stop "C" to Rochdale Bus Station, arriving at 1050 on Thursday morning.

{If you did mean Wuerdale, my apologies, and I'm stumped!}

I had used the alternative localised name, in error, which was not very kind of me to have done so. My apologies, but you were correct in your assumption.

We have a look at the East Lancashire Railway terminal station, then call into Fitzpatrick's famous herbalists shop for a dandelion and burdock drink, before returning to board the 1240 Rossendale Transport service 244 to Guide (Haslingden Road) that arrives there at 1310 on Thursday afternoon.

We seek nourishment of a Lancashire variety and have a "gentleman's-sized" portion of home-made beef and onion plate pie and a large helping of mushy peas, two rounds of margarine-spread bread and a large mug of strong tea to "wash it down" before crossing the road to board the 1503 Holmswood Coaches service 35 to Chipping (Brabins School) that arrives there at 1549 on Thursday afternoon.

Strangely there do not seem to be any buses heading in the opposite direction from here so we board the 1659 Holmeswood Coaches bus route 5 service at 1659 for the one minute journey to Chipping Kirklands Estate arriving at 1700 on Thursday.

Chipping is always well worth a visit and noting the time of the buses that run from the bus stop at the Sun Inn on the other side of the road, we spend three quarters of an hour strolling around the area until it is time to return to the Sun Inn where we board the 1753 Holmswood Coaches service 5A to Clitheroe Interchange that arrives there at 1832 on Thursday afternoon.
