We take the opportunity to purchase a cup of tea along with a pastry or three before heading to platform 3 to catch the 13:45 First Transpennine Express service to Scarborough. We saunter into Scarborough at 1529 on a glorious Saturday afternoon.

We decide to stay with omnibus travel and board the 1950 Go North East service X10 to Newcastle (Monument Pilgrim Road) that arrives there at 2119 on Saturday night.

Is that supposed to read Monument, Pilgrim Street? Becuase I can't find any signs of a Monument Pilgrim Road, or a Pilgrim Road near Monument. I can find Pilgrim Street, which has a number of bus stops on it though.

I have amended my posting with correct information from the Traveline Cumbria and North East website, which has the more correct information, than the local area details which were shown on their version of the timetable information that I first looked at.

dzug2 has now carried on from the updated information.

Void move, minimum interchange time at Newcastle Central is 8 minutes for the main station so isn't going to be any better from the metro.

Well, Out of the Metro station, through the barriers and the platform we come onto is the same platform as the departure platform
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
Plus, Transportphoto's move earlier at leeds must also be invalid due to the minimum connection time being 10 minutes and being left with a 4 minute connection time.

That is indeed the case, back we go to Leeds at 12:39 at Saturday. I have edited the rules to clarify the situation.

In my honest and frank opinion, I think some of this enforcement is quite petty so therefore I am over-ruling the decision to disallow the moves that have been pointed out as it sets the quiz back too far.

We shall continue from Trainfan344's posting currently numbered 4032 which says:

I will delete some postings made between that post and this to avoid confusion.

We are currently at Edinburgh Waverley at 2303 on a Saturday night.

The last valid move left us at Leeds at 1239 on Saturday regardless of if you think later posts are valid or not.

We now continue from Leeds on the 1257 Transpennine Express service to York arriving at 1322 on Saturday.

It would appear that things became a bit heated last night. I would ask that you all to play along nicely, these are only supposed to be a bit of fun. Whilst it was not stated that you needed to allow the minimum interchange until last night it does seem to have become a rule along the way. As such I'd suggest we continue as suggested by Zoe above from York having arrived at 1322 on Saturday.
