Is that really a legitimate move? The MCT at Exeter is 6 minutes so planning to do it in 2 is unrealistic

It was 4 minuites connection due to late running, looking at platforms, up the stairs and then down the very next pair, very doable in 4 minutes IMO.

But what late running - can we assume that is happening on a specific day, possibly in the future?

If we relied on actual running rather than timetables then loads of the journeys wouldn't actually work.

Ok, Say we ended up in a carriage which lined us up well for the stairs, we came in on platform 5, and departed from platform 3, http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/stations/sjp/EXD/plan.html?rtnloc=EXD That should help you make your mind up.

Here is what i can find of the rules

In this game you must travel from the station or stop where the previous post left you although this may involve a short walk when changing between modes for example to a bus stop serving a rail station. No getting back on the same service you have just left. You must use a real timetabled public transport service although this can be train, bus, London Underground, tram or other light rail. You may also used water based transport as long as it's a timetabled public transport service. No cars, taxis, motorbikes, planes or helicopters. You must not leave the island of Great Britain except where there is a fixed link to an island close to Great Britain. You must leave the station where the previous post left you within a reasonable amount of time (not staying there from Friday evening to Monday morning just so you can get a weekdays only working) although you may remain on a station overnight until the start of service the next day. Please post the day of the week and the time and where your journey starts and goes to.

If I may intercede in this operational debate, I have been a member of this particular quiz since its inception and our respected quiz-setter, Zoe, addressed this matter with a posting of adjudication many months ago.

We have just returned home to find that this quiz matter has been resolved.
