After a hot drink and some Valium tablets to settle our nerves, we board the 1845 National Express Airport service 201 to Heathrow Airport (Central Bus Station) that arrives at 2045 on Friday evening.

We can't leave Bristol at 1715 - we don't arrive until 1750:oops:

We take the 21:41 (I can't find the operator) route 267 to Hammersmith, Hammersmith & City/CIrcle line station, arrving 22:05 Friday

We continue on the N5 Metro Line bus from Trafalgar Square's Lower East Side at 0035, alighting at Golders Green Station (North End Road) at 0118 Saturday morning

We decide to call it a day and book into the adjacent Travelodge

Next (well the same actually) morning we catch the 0846 London Midland service to Rugeley Trent Valley arriving at 1043 Saturday

We catch the 313 West Yorkshire bus outside the station at 1621, travelling to Holmfirth Bus Station, arriving at 1657, Saturday afternoon

There's a little over an hour to wait before catching to 0040 departure on the same service to Manchester Piccadilly, arriving at 0055 Sunday morning

Well an airport is not that bad a place to spend a night and as the overnight TPE departures seem to be substitute buses, we wait for the first proper train departure at 0750, getting off at Dewsbury at 0922, Sunday morning

We catch the First No 3 service at 1027 and travel to Vicar Lane, arriving 1102, Sunday morning

I think that's in Leeds

We pig out in the Little Chef and consequently miss the next Coastliner in both directions, so we land up at 1615 on the 845 Coastliner to Bridlington Bus Station, arriving 1653, Sunday afternoon
