Luckily this terminal is only a short distance from the other one so we take the four minute walk back to the pontoon for the 20.05 Stagecoach South West service 92 alighting at Halwell, The Old Inn at 20.31 on Monday.
We take the eight minute walk to the Weary Traveller and board the 1701 Stagecoach South West Falcon service to Langford (The Churchill Inn), arriving there at 1826 on Tuesday.
We take the six minute walk to the St. Marys Gardens bus stop for the 19.07 First WoE service U2 alighting at Barrow Gurney, War Memorial at 19.22 on Tuesday.
Not enough connection time to catch the last train, so we take advantage of the overnight travel relaxation rule and take a well-earnest rest until we walk to the adjacent bus stop and there next board the 0658 First Wessex, Dorset & South Somerset service X53 to Bridport (Bus Station) that arrives there at 0752 on Wednesday.
Little in the way of connections here so we continue on the 08.48 First Wessex service X51 to Axminster Railway Station arriving at 09.50 on Wednesday.
My apologies about the current situation prevailing at Bridport bus station. I have not been there since 1975 where we spent our first holiday after being married and in those days, there were better bus services running from the bus station.
That will teach me not to rely on the fact that a bus station was mentioned, rather than checking on what happens in 2024...
Having dated someone from Worcester a long time ago, I recall buses finishing early, so we continue with the rails as we board the 2040 West Midlands Railway service 2C27 to The Hawthorns, arriving there at 2138 on Wednesday.
Unfortunately we're just too late for buses, so have no other option out here other than to return on the 2330 West Midlands Railway service 2B32 to Birmingham Snow Hill, arriving there at 0010 on Thursday.
