Whilst it would have been a welcomed way of getting away from the Lothian network, unfortunately walks are only permitted up to half a mile in distance.

Next we take the 2242 Lothian Buses service 27 all the way to Silverknowes Terminus arriving at 2332 on Thursday

Well, this stop is quite isolated and served only by the 27, but we can *just* walk to the Clubhouse stop of the 29 (but not the other stops at Silverknowes across the roundabout at they are 0.6 miles away!!!) where we await the morning services. So, from the Clubhouse we take the 0515 Lothian Buses service 29, alighting in Edinburgh at 0537 on Friday morning on Princes St, stop PH by the Scott Monument.

From here we take the short walk into Waverley Station and await the 0606 Cross Country service to Tamworth arriving at 1049 on Friday morning.

Also, the 501 only appears to run on a Sunday? Today is a Bank Holiday, so if you're using today as a planner it'll show Sunday services?

I can, however, see a 500 service departing Hemel Hempstead at 1354 and arriving at Home Park Ind Est at 1422?
