Help! I'm struggling to find this route - I can find Red Eagle M-F services R1, R1C and R2 but no Red Rose R21. Red Rose 21 doesn't seem to fit either. Help!
I found it on a Transport for London information site, where Maple Cross, The Cross was shown as a timing point in that timetable.

I wonder if it was a timetable that is no longer a current one but had never been removed from the website.

Yes, it doesn't appear to be running and the other services operated by Red Rose Travel only appear to operate on selected weekdays.

In this case, perhaps it be wise to remain at Maple Cross and board the 0730 Arriva Herts & Essex service 500 to Croxley Green (New Road), arriving there at 0746 on Saturday morning.

The timings do match up for it to be a Service 520 journey so we can probably take that as being the case.

In which case we will next board the 0807 Arriva Herts & Essex service 320 to Garston, opp Bus Garage (although this has now been demolished) arriving there at 0850 on Saturday morning.

It is, unsure why my autocorrect changed it to 500!

What's the situation with the Abbey Line at the moment? Only asking because I believe it's buses only for the foreseeable and I was going to walk to Garston station from the bus garage but decided against it for that reason.

Not to worry, what I'll do is continue by local bus to move away from the grey area!

Taking the ten minute walk to Maplefield, we are in perfect time to board the hourly 1008 Red Eagle service 361 to St Albans (St Peter's Street), arriving there at 1028 on Saturday morning.

Two points to make:-

1) ... I have struck through my earlier Red Rose Travel posting, to tidy up the thread.

2) ... I have had a look at the very first two postings on this relaunched thread, made by forum quizmasters when they rewrote the guide notes and quiz rules and cannot see where it states the matter of rail services being replaced by bus services and what procedure to follow in such cases.

Little or nothing in the way of buses at this time of night so we can continue on the 2259 West Midlands Trains service to Rugeley Town arriving there at 2305 on Saturday.
