We decide to head one stop down the line on the old railway, so in lieu of any actual trains, we walk to the Meadowbrook Park stop around the corner and board the 14:59 Stagecoach in Chesterfield service 70 to Renishaw, adj Golf Club, arriving at 15:13 Thursday afternoon.

Sorry, it is, the predictive text on my phone is most annoying.
We decide we've had enough of the 100, so we pop into the Cross Keys pub for our dinner, before taking the 0.4 miles walk to the station to board the 22:35 East Midlands Trains service 2T91 to Lincoln Central, arriving at 23:40 Thursday evening.
I know this is a long wait but it's under two hours with connection, and the 100 isn't the most exciting bus in the world!

Having called ahead to request a pickup from the station, we are relieved to find the CallConnect service CC4B does indeed turn up at 08:33, and promptly takes us (via a few scattered houses) to our destination of Immingham, adj County Hotel, arriving at 09:12 Friday morning.
