We next board the 1717 First Norfolk & Suffolk Yellow Line service X29 to Fakenham (Oak Street) that arrives there at 1747 on Friday afternoon.

The only service other than the X29 that we can make in time is the 18:00 Lynx 'Coastliner' service 36, which we take as far as Brancaster Staithe, adj Jolly Sailors, arriving at 19:04 Friday evening.

That appears to be the last bus of the day, so we decide to seek heavenly intervention and decide to join with a group making a pilgrimage and the next morning, we board the 0752 Lynx Coastliner service 36 to Little Walsingham (Knight Street) that arrives there at 0841 on Saturday morning.

Unfortunately the little railway doesn't run in winter, so instead we board the 09:13 Lynx 'Coastliner' service 36 to King’s Lynn Transport Interchange, arriving nearly 2 hours later at 11:24 Saturday morning.

We next board the 1135 First in Norfolk & Suffolk Excel service XL to Guyhirn (Oak Tree Farm on Fen Road) that arrives there at 1229 on Saturday morning.

Taking an immediate dislike to this village/A47 pit stop, we're grateful to find that there is a bus from Gull Road round the corner, this being the 12:41 Stagecoach in Cambridge service 46 to Wisbech Horse Fair Bus Station, arriving at 13:02 Saturday afternoon.

We seem to be stranded, as the Railway Station is a 2 mile walk, and there are no buses until well into Monday morning, so on this basis we wait for the 1030 Stagecoach East service 56 to Wisbech, Bus Station arriving there at 1127 on Monday morning

There is one earlier bus, a service 56 that only runs as far as Grays Lane, March, that leaves at 09:00, which means that the 10:30 is within two hours of the next available service, so let's continue as if that was the move.
