Taking the short walk under Montpelier Arches to the bus stops on Zetland Road Junction, we then visit the more darker and rougher areas in the south of the city as we board the 0343 First in Bristol, Bath and The West service 75 to Hartcliffe (Holisters Drive), arriving there at 0420 on Wednesday morning.

We take the 6 minute walk to the stop at Hartcliffe, Oak House and take First in Bristol Bath & the West service 76 at 0522 as far as Brentry, Charlton Rd Jct (SW-bound) where we arrive at 0620 on Wednesday morning.

Walking around the corner to The Horsefair, we move away from the Bristol area as we board the 0832 First in Bristol, Bath and The West service 42 to Longwell Green (Wraxall Road), arriving there at 0912 on Wednesday morning.

We take the 1007 Great Western Railway service to Dorchester West arriving 1151 on Wednesday morning.

(The bus station is next to the railway station).

We leave the railway station and take the short one minute walk to the bus stop on Williams Avenue where we just meet the connection deadline and board the 1156 Wessex, Dorset and South Somerset service 10 to Melcombe Regis (Lodmoor Hill) that arrives there at 1229 on Wednesday afternoon.

We take the 0.4-mile eight minute walk to Greenhill Gardens. After admiring the floral clock, we board Damory Coaches service X12 at 1307 to Blandford Forum (Crown Hotel), alighting at 1415 Wednesday afternoon.

We take Dorset CC's 20 service at 1450 and travel to Salisbury Tescos arriving at 1550 Wednesday afternoon

Entering the station onto the main line platforms, we then embark on a late night journey out of the capital as we board the 0016 Great Northern service 2V73 to Welwyn Garden City, arriving there at 0055 in the early hours of Thursday morning.

With only one service available within the two hour time frame we take 0210 Great Northern 2P50 Service further out into the shires to Peterborough train station where we arrive at 03:18 on Thursday morning.

We look down at our ticket and realise that it was only valid to Colchester. Fortunately, we weren't spotted by a ticket inspector and we sneak over to the other platform and board the 0817 AGA service back to Colchester. We arrive at 0902 Thursday morning.
