Just when I was starting to lose hope on Liverpool's night buses, and was aiming to catch the first service out of Lime Street (0338), we find a coach service is available so we walk behind Lime Street to Norton Street/Kempston Street, where we board the 0227 National Express service 61 to Manchester (Chorlton Street Coach Station), arriving there at 0340 on Tuesday morning.

We take the three minutes walk to the bus stop on Portland Street that serves Chinatown and there we board the 0402 Stagecoach Manchester service 105 to Wythenshawe Interchange that arrives there at 0440 on Tuesday morning.

Unfortunately, Lawrence Hill has no more rail services, however there are 24 hour bus services so we exit the station and board the 0110 First in Bristol, Bath and The West service 43 to Kingswood (Kings Chase Centre), arriving there at 0120 in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
