This is just around the corner from New Milton station, and the perfect arrival of this previous service means that we have just enough time to walk over and board the 1322 South West Trains service 2B48 to Clapham Junction, arriving there at 1525 on Monday afternoon.

A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England

I know that you have checked the timings, but can you now change the "quiz day of the week" in your posting above to read "Monday afternoon", please.

Any posting of mine made afterwards which had timings based on Sunday than Monday times have now been struck-through

Following this on MONDAY times.

We then note the 10 minute connection time here and board the 15:38 Southern Service to Bognor Regis arriving there at 17:18 Monday afternoon.

As much as I love the south coast (I'm currently in Brighton as we speak), it's time to head further northwards.

We then board the 1905 Stagecoach in Hampshire and Surrey service 70 to Guildford (Friary Bus Station), arriving there at 2005 on Monday evening.

Moving away from this area again, Haslemere station is just within the 0.5 mile allowance, so we head there and board the 2155 South West Trains service 1P69 to Portsmouth & Southsea, arriving there at 2231 on Monday evening.
