It's just within the 0.5 mile boundary however Gloucester Toad has plenty of other bus services, and so really that walk to Eden Grove wasn't really needed.

Leaving the railway station, we take the four minutes walk to the bus stop on Pennycomequick Road where we board the 2301 Plymouth Citybus service 32B to Insworke (Insbrooke Crescent) that arrives there at 0023 on Tuesday morning.

Waking up after a brief sleep, we catch the first bus possible, the 06:25 service 32 operated by Plymouth Citybus, arriving at Cremyll, Edgcumbe Arms at 06:38.

In what I hope is a pleasing display of integrated transport, rather than a coincidence, this is in time to connect with the first ferry departure of the day from Cremyll. But will we be onboard?

Disembarking here, we take the seven minute walk to the bus stop on Edgecumbe Street where we board the 0704 Plymouth Citybus service 21A to St Budeaux (St Budeaux Square) that arrives there at 0722 on Tuesday morning.

A 2 minute walk around the corner allows us to sample one of the few trains stopping at St Budeaux Ferry Road railway station.

We catch the 0752 GWR train two stops to Devonport Dockyard, arriving 0757 Tuesday morning.

We decide on a trip up the branch line, but remembering that Devonport Dockyard is a request stop, we give a clear signal to the driver and board the 0844 GWR service to Gunnislake that arrives there at 0926 on Tuesday morning.
