It wasn't my intention to have the game moved back to Kings Cross, not since we've moved on so much. I just wanted to make you aware of the rule and for you to acknowledge it as you werent quite getting it. I can say you have understood it now though
Oh no I understand you didn't intend to move it back, but I just pointing out that I must have missed that rule. I was 'getting' it, but I kind of wasn't, if that makes sense?!
I also personally thought that Kings Cross and St Pancras were classed as one big interchange. Although they are served by different operators etc, the underground station is of course Kings Cross St Pancras. This is where I got confused with the ruling that states that no transfer between two stations is allowed. Of course I understand this for something ridiculous like walking between say Leeds and York, but not in this example.
But also, if we were going on the basis that they are two seperate stations, then as they were less than 0.5 miles apart, I thought this was allowed, hence the confusion.
Hmm no Sunday local buses at the station and the bus station is too far to walk (0.9 miles). And lots of rail replacement buses in the journey planner.
So I assume we work on the 'normal' rail timetable and take the EMT at 1033, arriving at Long Eaton at 1127 Sunday morning
That is correct. We work on the 'normal' timetable, as per the rules:
Rules said:
So the game remains realistic, you should use the current timetable for the relevant day not including timetable variations for engineering works.
We then continue with
1F24, the
1231 East Midlands Trains service to
Sheffield, arriving there at
1328 on
Sunday afternoon.
