We make a dash for the mainline platforms only to see the Manchester train disappearing before the MCT ends

So we catch the 2230 LM departure and retrace our steps and more, getting to Redditch at 2353 Saturday evening

This is just a general point for all on the game. When using a bus, it might be helpful to others if more information is added about which bus stop we travel to. In the case of DanTrainMan185's move to Brierley Hill (High Street), there are a two sets of bus stops on the High Street in Brierley Hill. I know its a trivial thing but it could make things difficult if we end up on a rather long road with multiple bus stops along it, thinking about the rules on walking

That's a fair point, however when I post and I go to a ridiculously long street such as Wilmslow Road in Manchester or Hagley Road in Birmingham, then I will be more specific. For example, if I was on say, Leeds Road (made up road!), and it was a major road, then I would put Leeds Road/London Street for example!

We then have a nice night in a good hotel, before setting off from the bus station at the leisurely hour of 0825, catching the Diamond Buses X3 to Stourport, York Street, arriving at 0925 on a Sunday Morning.

We then board the 0940 Diamond Buses service 3 to Kidderminster (Railway Station), arriving there at 1000 on Sunday morning.

EDIT: Oh my god only just seen above post! How odd that it was exactly the same bus, to exactly the same place!!

Having had a quick look around Bewdley and failed to find any buses out of here on a Sunday, we board the following SVR train out of here, the 1131 to Bridgnorth, arriving at 1227 on a Sunday afternoon.

(Cant resist adding the Funicular Railway!)

We walk to the bottom station of the Funicular Railway on Underhill Street (no timetable is posted but it is only a short journey up) and ascend to Bridgnorth High Town arriving on Castle Walk at 12:45 on Sunday afternoon.

I hope this one is allowed - I have only found the game today and have enjoyed reading the journey so far!

In the words of a certain TV progamme "Get me out of here!!"

Does anyone know the exact distance from where we are on Castle Walk in Bridgnorth High Town to the railway station in Bridgnorth....does it come within the half-mile maximum walking allowance now stated in the rules of the quiz ?

Don't know the exact distance but from a map it looks to be less than 500m

We should have no problem in catching the 1325 rail departure and travelling to Highley arriving at 1354 Sunday afternoon

Shrpshire CC's web site confirms no buses

The 1513 departure then takes us to Country Park Halt, stopping by request a few minutes later. (Exact time not given - but makes no difference to possible onward journeys)

I hope we bought a day ticket

We don't have the 5 minutes needed to catch the last SVR train of the day, so we catch up with refreshments and take the 1746 LM train to The Lakes arriving by request at 1855 Sunday evening

We then leave the station and walk to Halfords Lane, BIRM. Where a NXWM bus route 74, leaving at around 2120, arriving at Dudley Port Rail Station at 2140 on a Sunday evening.

Disliking night-life, we then board the 2146 LM service to Worcester Shrub Hill, arriving at 2239 on a Sunday Night.

After a nice overnight stay, we board the DRM route 476 running on school-days only, along with a lot of schoolchildren, although it seems to be a public bus. This leave Malvern Link Top at 0730, and arrives at Tarrington at 0809 on a Monday Morning.

This is the third time i've been on this week and been baffled. Unable to make a move in this game.
I don't doubt any of the moves made it's just me and buses.
Can someone explain to me how to go about finding these things please.
I've looked on the traveline website and found in no time the DRM 476 service, yet looking at the timetables I find no Malvern Link Top, nor just plain Malvern for that matter and no arrivals in Tarrington at 0809

There can only be one DRM 476 service

Just looked on DRM coaches own website and still none the wiser

We then board the 0954 DRM Bus service 476 to Hereford (Bus Station), arriving there at 1015 on Monday morning.

The stops on the timetable for this service are very vague!

There are two - in a backward sort of way. 476 is a Ledbury to Hereford service but once a day it starts back in Malvern

Why Traveline doesn't know about the extension - pass

But finding buses is a black art, I'd agree

A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
Time to peruse the delights here before returning to the bus stop where we board the 1347 Stagecoach in Wye and Dean service 33 to Much Birch that arrives there at 1410 on Monday afternoon.

EDIT.....Apologies, was looking at an out-of-date timetable....times now amended to that of the current timetable.

I can't find that time in any timetable - only a 1347 bus arriving at 1410
