Since the alternative service 11 does not run on Sundays and once again we have arrived at the penultimate timing point on the timetable (again.. <D ), not wishing to walk hither and thither within the half-mile walking allowance distance but to use the same bus stop and board the 1506 Stagecoach West service 10 to Lower Tuffley (the bus stop near Silver Close on Tuffley Lane) tht arrives there at 1512 on Sunday.

That's your choice, but you could have literally crossed the road, without any walking hither and wither as you put it, and headed back in the opposite direction if you so chose to.

As that famous saying goes, you've made your bed, now lie in it. :D

We next board the 1542 Stagecoach West service 10 to Cheltenham (The Exmouth Arms), arriving there at 1646 on Sunday.

The stop in question was on Podsmead Road South to which I responded to. A look at the Bustimes expanded reverse timetable did not show a bus stop there but did show one at Podsmead Road, which you cannot say is one accesed by just crossing the road as that is a different location.

I am interested in your geographical understanding of how a road name changes when you only cross the road.

Podsmead Road is around the corner from Podsmead Road South. A 2 minute walk.

How do you "just cross the road", when there is no stop there to cross to, which you have now admitted is a 2 minute walk away.

At least, my onward journey left from the correct bus stop as far as I am concerned and as for your sarcastic comment about "making my bed and lying in it", that particular riposte has no implications now the truth of the matter has been brought into light.... <D

The last Sunday bus of the day has gone, so waiting until Monday to arrive, we make overnight arrangements and next board the 0720 Pulhams Coaches service L to Cheltenham (the bus stop opposite the Hospital Main Entrance on Sandford Road) that arrives there at 0729 on Monday.

As we are at the terminal point of the 101 bus route and on the only bus the stops outside the Co-op, we reboard the Salisbury Reds service 101 bus we came on for the 1215 service to Devizes (the bus stop outside Kwik Fit on Estcourt Street) that arrives there at 1258 on Monday.
For future reference, a two minute to North Street would have provided you with service X4 and X5.

We take the five minute walk to the fire station and board the 1310 Salisbury Reds service X2 to Salisbury Tesco, arriving there at 1420 on Monday.
