I didn't realise that had been relocated, I would be interested to learn more.

Clue 5:
The public timetable implies that many trains serving this station are either capable of time travel or of passing through another train operating in the opposite direction on the same line.

It's slightly dodgy ground as to whether it counts as resiting, I'll admit.

What on earth does this mean? I can't get my head round this :(

Go on, expand. I have no idea what happened.

I don't want to give the game away but admit it was difficult to word. The best I can suggest is to think of how the public timetable and track layout may contradict each other.

The platform at Lympstone Commando is built using cast sections which were recovered from Weston Milton after the track had been singled.

I see. It wasn't what I had in mind, but technically it has been relocated. Clever response, shame you didn't get there (I did wonder whether the four clues may have narrowed it down to one possibility too quickly).

Clue 2: 2 out of the 3 main types of traction used on the British network (diesel, AC electric and DC electric) are represented at this station.

I did just realise - in the previous round Lympstone Commando was a point off regardless of whether it fits the resiting clue, because it isn't north of Swindon

Which is served by diesel and which other type of traction exactly?

I am going to argue that dual voltage units should count at DC electric so Bletchley is served by all three of the main types of traction seen on BR. Adjudication please.

Bournemouth? I don't think the South Central division make it here, so there shouldn't be any dual voltage units.

To clarify, do you mean:
a) island platforms (I suspect not if Colchester is the right idea,
b) platforms opposite each other on a double track line, as is found at Derby Road, for example (and no, that is not a guess)
c) something else.

I see. Please could you clarify your position regarding my dual voltage objection at Bletchley (which was that the 377s that call there are dual voltage so both AC & DC appears)?

I had intended to word the clue so as to make it clear that only 2 types of traction are represented at this station (i.e. we are not concerned with other types of traction the units may operate on elsewhere). I accept that I didn't word it very well, though.

Clue 5: This station's name consists of one word, which is playable in a game of Scrabble using the standard rules (English-language).

No dual voltage units, so I can't appeal for a dud clue penalty.

I can appeal for a penalty for Bletchley and Hastings though.

Clue 1:
This station is east of Edinburgh.
