Clue 2 : If you were to travel to this station on a train all the way from London you'd stop at Stratford (London). There's also a limited service to another station in this town from London via Stratford.

I am going to take a gamble on Southend Victoria.

Why is it a "gamble"? Because there are no services from LST/SRA to Central (well, under normal circumstances anyway), so if this is wrong I lose a point for an impossible response! Of course, if I'm right, sorry to say but I'll have to deduct points for a dud clue

You are correct.

But i beg to differ on the dud clue, C2C show as running direct services stopping at Stratford after 8pm.

And there's no rule on dud clues. I was mistaken as C2C are shown running services on this coming Monday.

Rule 6.1 ;) (That rule actually needs to be updated, because now you lose 6 points and not 3.)

Given you went by what NRE was telling you, it wouldn't be fair to penalise you when NRE is what caused the mistake (not to mention it is true during engineering works, which is what would have caused this). But know that c2c services from LST usually terminate at Barking; in the other direction, the furthest east they travel from is Stanford-le-Hope.

No matter. No Penalty. I'll be nice. You are my friend after all :)

I have to say though, for me to be able to confidently say Southend Victoria after only two clues means you might have made it too easy.

Anyway, open floor. Feel free to go again :)

Clue 2 : This station is south of Preston but north of Leamington Spa.

Clue 3 : If you were to arrive at this station, you would have to wait a long time for the next train, so you may walk to the other station in this suburb.

Clue 3: With the exception of a limited number of peak-time services, all trains calling at this station can be described as all-stops.

A clear penalty; Worcester Foregate Street is served by 2 TOCs...

You're both thinking of the wrong Games. :p

The answer I sought was Dalmarnock.
