67014 has now come off damaged HD05, run over to ATC briefly before it heads to Canton later.

Today at Crewe depot (9/6/25):

67014 light engine: Ran 0Z84 from Crewe depot to Canton depot.

67015 light engine

67022 light engine

67029 connected to HD01

AFAIK the current thinking is that HD08s DVT will be prioritised for return, that will then go onto HD02 with the damaged one then going onto HD08 when it's fixed.
Lots of factors may change that yet though.

HD02 DVT (82229) is on the back of a Allelys truck seen on the A500 from Crewe. No longer at the ETD. Destination unknown.

A couple of loco swaps planned for tomorrow.
After arrival back into Cardiff after 1V39, 67008 will be replaced by 67016 on HD06. HD07 is planned for the Crewe-Crewe Diagram and when it arrives back in the evening should see 67025 replaced by 67015.

Set wise, as theres capacity at Crewe due to HD05s absence, some minor exams are being brought forward, HD03 will be done Tuesday and Wednesday with HD04 down for its exam on Thursday and Friday.

67015 has had wheelset issues picked up and has been returned to ETD for tyre turning.
67022 will now replace 67025 on HD07 tonight instead.

You wish. The complimentary offering is so pathetic that it ought to be withdrawn altogether to save disappointment.
The choice is:
- Pecan, raisin and sultana mix

and that's it.
If you order a hot drink, they will place the world's thinnest organic biscuit on the side of the saucer as well.

I did Pontypool to Cardiff on the 06:27 ex Manchester. 1 other person in first class. The rest of the train was well-loaded as I had been on since Piccadilly. By that point it was too late for freebies, but judging by the state of the carriage there had not been many others there to know. (Two tables had one take away coffee cup on each).

Can anyone confirm HD08's DVT? I'm confused as I'm seeing two answers, 82204 and 82220. I'm aware that the new plan will be to get it onto HD02 when it's ready but I want to know the true answer.

The DVT of HD08 is currently in the system as 82220 with 82204 as the spare.
Both are now at Worksop along with 82229.
