So much for being back up to 5 diagrams. On RTT it is showing the 0432, 0853 and 1253 ex Cardiff were all units today.

The 1653 is showing as 8 carriages! Which obviously wouldnt be possible and certainly not a 197 and MK4 together!. It is showing both the MK4 and 197101. Anyone able to confirm which one ran the service?

It was 197101, the system got confused and allocated HD04 with 197101 on 1W63 when HD04 was to work 1W96.

Set 1 failed & didn’t work.

Today there are 2 sets on exam
One that was expected ready today isn’t.

Tomorrow sees another attempt at 5 sets being out altough theres now only 4 diagrams on paper tomorrow. To allow this to happen, 1W65 will be a unit tonight with HD04 staying at Canton.

Tomorrow should then see HD01 (1W13 start) and HD04 (just 1W11 1V37 vice 197, rest of the diagram will remain as a 197) from Canton, HD05 (1V31 start) and HD06 (1V33 start) from Crewe and HD07 from Holyhead.

Saturday should also see a full house with HD04 and HD06 working from Canton and HD03 and HD05 on the Crewe starts.

Travelled on 1W57 (1053 from Cardiff) on Wednesday, enjoyed a fantastic steak for lunch! Looking forward to returning today. Thankfully can be flexible in order to catch a running set.

Yes, couple of loco exams tomorrow and Sunday but no exams are due on the rakes so 6 available all week.

HD01/03/04/06/07 have been hammered these past few weeks, out practically every possible day so hopefully some outstanding issues that are creeping in can be resolved next week with a spare set most days.

Set 1 running today with a locked out coach, it had air con issues on 1V50 last night.

Waiting at Craven Arms for 1V48 Heading South. Nothing coming south of Shrewsbury I presume. Any idea how long the wait might be or should I go north instead and take the long way round?
