630 is now a Decker route. Another route got upgraded to Streetdeck but forgot which.
I believe the 615. It uses an 200mmc on the first two trips, then switches to a streetdeck off the 947 and does it for rest of day (seems like 3401 is its main decker)

MetroDecker 40844 had been off the road for many months before their transfer to North West, having suffered engine failure. Not sure whether either have made it north yet, but from what I can tell Rotala are placing these troublesome vehicles where they will see minimal usage. A slight shame given the high interior spec from Reading Buses, but that arguably explains why so few were built!

This is probably opening a can of worms, but the ADL E400EVs go up to fleet number 80121. Is this it, or are more expected in the current order?

They were supposed to be up to 80145 but what would have been 80122 upwards are now going to Metroline as ADE535 upwards.

10862/11876/11877 have moved over to Queens Road ahead of the PVR increase this weekend.

11876 hadn’t arrived last night only 10862/11877. There’s actually 3 more due, 6 all together for the PVR increase.
11876 is relatively long term VOR after a breakdown in early November - was still awaiting repair in Hyde Road a few days before T3 launch.

The six B5LHs should be moving out to Oldham too, no idea if any have gone yet.

Can’t see 11876 being one of the 6 then as 6 extra vehicles are needed from Monday with the PVR increase.
13176 and 11504 are both long term VOR with seized engines and the other B5’s at queens are in poor condition and are mainly relegated to the Freebus now.

Middleton are short of single deckers so 37149 has gone on short term loan with 11870 coming the other way.
Shame they didn’t send 11830 so 11819-863 could all be at one depot rather than having an odd one out (that definitely bothers me more than it should) :D

Seen a post on Facebook (posted by someone who assisted with Tranche 3 Streetdeck prep work in Cardiff) suggesting they’re expecting another 150 odd new vehicles for Metroline, I wonder what they are…

Would guess its to replace all the Ex Stagecoach hybrids, pretty sure Metroline are keen to have a pretty much all new fleet.

The full report quoted in this article is here - https://democracy.greatermanchester-ca.gov.uk/documents/g5677/Public reports pack 26th-Sep-2024 10.00 Greater Manchester Joint Clean Air Scrutiny Committee.pdf?T=10

There's a very interesting table setting out which routes are being upgraded to Zero emission as TFGM rush to meet clean air targets.

Back in September (post 1551), there was note of 73 ZEBs to be allocated to Queens Road and 40 additional ZEBs to be acquired for Bolton. Does anyone have any update on this - noting that the electrification of Queens Road will not take place for a while yet and hence it will be some time before any ZEBs operate from there. In particular:

- Bolton has since received 19 Electroliners - does that mean there are 21 still to come or is the 40 on top of this ? Conveniently there are 21 B9s coming upto 15 years old, so will need replacing this / next year anyway. Do we know when they are due ?
- There are some BZLs that have not been allocated (I think) - Metroline are due 110 and Middleton 43 (see post 1530) which leaves 29 unallocated I think. Could these end up at Bolton as part of their requirement for an extra 21 (or 40) ?

Thanks.

According to BusTimes, they were last with Bell Vue of Manchester.

A17/19 HLC were never with belle vue, their Diamond nw/Preston bus entries on bustimes are the first time they've been on bustimes
