I think TFGM see any bus as suitable regardless of age as long as it’s Euro 6 compliant - just look at the state of the Scania’s and B9’s - although they are getting their monies worth out of some of the B9’s!
Think there’s been several of Firsts E400’s out on Ashton services this afternoon.
I saw a First E400 on route 216 in Manchester yesterday, probably this one.
Regarding the destination blind, there is multiple reasons why that might of happened one being the reason you stated but sometimes the destinations will say they have changed on the changer but not on the blinds so they freeze

Diamond are waiting for Stagecoach to give their stratas to replace solos/solo srs, which means waiting for e100evs to arrive
There was an issue recently where one of TFGM’s contractors was splicing into the destination display wiring to fit radios and it made the destination equipment completely freeze.
I think Diamond are getting 4 new Stratas as Stagecoach need to keep theirs.
Doubt any deckers are heading for Wythenshawe immediately, there's enough in horrid condition at Sharston and Hyde Road that need replacing! Would be nice though - they'd be welcome on the 313 as well I think.
I wouldn’t have thought so as the whole fleet at Wythenshawe is brand new single decks. There are mo placeholder ex-Stagecoach buses in the allocation

They were! Then were supposedly going to Middleton but potentially end up anywhere that’s got the powers to charge them
Stagecoach are keeping the Strata’s, not sure where the rumour has come from they are going.
Diamond definitely have two white single deckers, and at least one of them is stickered up.
The four at Queens Road appeared on Diamonds Fleet allocation files in December with new Fleet Numbers.
I've heard they're leaving too, haven't heard anything about replacements though

Not sure why. There is literally nothing small enough to replace them other than Optare solos that TFGM didn’t want to pay for - hence why they were sent to south wales.
It’s on the cards but no time soon as the roof needs replacing first.
They are being used from the reserve fleet because the large number of MOT’s at Queens in the first quarter of the year. I don’t think they are permanent Queens fleet and should move on once the MOT’s have all been done.

630 is now a Decker route. Another route got upgraded to Streetdeck but forgot which.
Ah right, thanks. Seems an extravagance on a lightly used route and a bit of a squeeze around the estates but I'm sure there's a good reason.
