Do any services currently terminate at Laindon? I know they do from the timetable change next week...

Do they ever. They withdrew them as part of a massive overhaul in 2006 and the result was calamitous at best. It didn't take long for Platform 2 to see regular use again - five weeks I think. If I recall correctly, there are eight each way per day. There are even some eight coach trains terminating there; and I believe at least one does not serve Limehouse.

I've never actually used a Laindon terminator though! And with one exception over the airshow weekend this year, I've never used Platform 2 there either (you presumably would have on the Blue Train thing on March 5th, which I lost my pictures of when my old camera died I deliberately went to Shoeburyness station for a few pictures that day...).

West Horndon and Laindon stations are on a loop line and once were served by services of the London, Tilbury and Southend Railway and are currently managed by c2c.

Yes, but also some time before that when there were some engineering works on and the line was closed either east or west of there, thus it was being used. At one point last year, I think I spent about 4 of 7 weekends on the LTS crossover bashing.

It isn't - London Euston is further east by some distance.

Bedford St Johns is due north of Heathrow. Euston is LM's easternmost station. (Even St Albans Abbey is further east of Bedford St Johns.)

No through lines at Sittingbourne, there are at Newington though, just a few miles away.
