This was raised some time ago and a suggestion was made that the person who first set this quiz up should be asked for clarification as exactly which type of stations could be used. This suggestion was dismissed out of hand by a forum member who said that the person who set this quiz up was far too busy to deal with such a request. Hence, people on this quiz have had no definate guidelines in which to base their replies, since that date.
The only advice that I can offer, finding ourselves in such a situation, is to follow the guidelines of
HST Power on the Station Codes quiz in his very recent rules clarification on the thread posting # 886 of 26th September 2011 in which, as a result of some rather "unusual" posting entries, was in need of rules clarification.
His idea is that the following rules should apply:-
UK mainline heavy rail stations that are currently open.
London Underground stations that are currently open.
No light rail stations
of any type are to be allowed.
Therefore, we are now in the position of having
Chesham as the next station with which to make a station association, unless a rules clarification specific to this quiz is received.
