33168 was on Moorclose Circular 50 with a solo on the 51.
20134 was on Northside 48, and the lucky tw*ts had an awesome driver who was the first stagecoach driver to drive me on my sixth form route back in April 2008 lol.
20896 was on Keswick 554, which is usually ran by one of Carlisle's K reg Leyland Oly's.
42534 was on layover in Cockermouth, presumably after doing Cockermouth 58.
i was on 52627 going to Keswick this morning, and i personally didnt like it. it seems to have gotten worse since i was last on it!!!

Forgot to mention before, I passed a Stephensons coach broken down on the way home. Didn't look good; oil and coolant all over the place. There was another Stephensons coach there as well as the fitter's van.
Bit of news about Fishwick's Lynxs, they are now down to just 2 after J 7 JFS suffered a blown engine and was withdrawn.
J 14 JFS and H 64 CCK will be re-MOT'd even though they only ahve a few months left. J14 JFS will be preserved as it was the last Lynx to be bought new.

So if 16393 is getting the roof from 16358 I wonder what will be getting converted to open top to replace the Titans on the Borrowdale Bus (78). Any idea if 16393 will stay on at Lillyhall once repaired, schools perhaps??

There were 9 709s on the Feb fleet list, would be nice to see the whole lot gone, but I cant see that!
As I see the Lillyhall 709D situation;
If all the 709Ds go, 40028 will move to Barrow. The "Info to Go" bus will stay, Lancaster still has one as well.
If any 709Ds are to stay, it will obviously be the Info bus and 40028.
Other than that, I don't think there's any more to be said. I tihnk Gez mentioned something about Olympians being collected soon, but don't quote me on that. Or it may have been the Lynxs being collected for scrap. Can't remember

the 3 marshall darts will run 46, 46A and 47.

that will leave the P reg beaver bodied vario's to run BNG / Staff Shuttle or cover breakdowns / scheduled servicing where the other solo is already out on service.
i've been told that the other 709d's will enter the reserve fleet (possibility that 2 will stay for BNG / Staff Shuttle, these being 40394 and 40651 apparently as they are both seatbelted), sending the more knackered ones onto the disposal list.
with service 78 (Keswick - Seatoller), i've been told 10179 and 10728 will run it until 16329 (or 16340, can't remember which) and 14853 (ex Bullocks NC bodied Leyland Olympian) are converted. this route is supposed to go open top from Monday 6th April when a revised timetable (making the service half hourly) is put into place.
if the open tops aren't sent out onto the route, chances are Carlisle depot will use some of their older "shortbase" olympians (K reg's).

How may PB buses are still waiting to be painted? Had 17018 on the 2a before. Whole thing needs a refurb. I'm sure it'll get one but their taking their time doing them all up. The B10B's with be done before they are lol.
Also just sore 21004 dead at the bus station. Looks so crisp with new paint. If only they would stay like that lol.
Glad to hear 20775 has gone. I was wondering why the Lynxes had gone back to Preston but that makes sense. I guess they'll be towed to LL lol, depending on how much they take.

20753 is on 31 and the display seemed a little brighter lol.
another B10M was on 31 (either 20134 or 20737 i think, as these are the only bus seated ones with LED).
a 709d is on Harrington & Seaton routes with "00000007C7" on the display, and destination boards in windscreen.

"It is planned that 40028 will run Maryport - Cockermouth, service number 58, due to the full refurbishment and LED fitment, however, it will be up to the allocator at Lillyhall whether or not this happens. It could be the case that the allocator decides to allocate a Plaxton Beaver bodied Vario full time due to the higher capacity, but the main plan is to remove most of the corporate stripe seat moquette's from public services where possible.
For the present time, Maryport Town Service, service number 57, will remain step entrance vehicle. It will be up to the allocator which vehicles are used, but it is assumed that a Plaxton Beaver bodied Vario will be used, as in time, this will become a low floor service, making all of Lillyhall's Town Service operations (excluding Northside, service number 48 ) low floor operation.
I have yet to hear of any replacements for the X4 and X5 services that Lillyhall run, however various possibilities have been discussed. These, as you will know already, have all fallen through due to size problems on vehicles. Therefore for the current time, these services will continue to be operated by the Jonckheere Modulo bodied Volvo B10M's, and the Alexander PS bodied B10M's until a suitable solution is found."

21004 on the 55 this afternoon. 21003 was on the 2a and 21007 on the 2 which is a very smooth ride and quite nippy. 16661 on the 2a. I haven't seen 10721 for a while. Is it in for a refurb?
Surely you mean 22721?
I don't know where its been, could well be an MOT/service/refurb job.
Also, the reason one of the LL Darts was in Liverpool was to cover while their Darts get MOTs. Another dart from a different depot has now replaced it as cover.

This afternoon: 17023 flying down the A6 on a 40 towards Preston, 16662 on a 42 at the Infirmary, The Morecambe & Wise Trident on a 2 near Our Ladies, 20463 on the X1.
not quite North West, but Stagecoach Oxfords 22203(?) in the yard at Blackburn works next to the railway missing most of its front end.
