Clifton in Bristol is also the location of its city's zoo.
St John's church in Brearton was designed by James Pigott Pritchett, who also designed the magnificent grade 1-listed station building at Huddersfield in West Yorkshire.Brearton, North Yorkshire -- a little way north of Harrogate -- also has a pub called the Malt Shovel.
You'll be telling us next, that Nessie doesn't existKessingland was the location of a supposed sighting of a giant sea snake by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (who was an enthusiast for all sorts of esoteric woo) in 1906. Another mythical snake-like creature, the Lambton Worm, made a nuisance of itself in County Durham until slain at Worm Hill, Fatfield, now a district of Washington New Town.
Is Llanfrechfa meant here? I can find no "Llanfrechna"; and the "f" version, agrees with the above. Assuming that it is Llanfrechfa; Cottenham, Cambridgeshire -- five or six miles north of Cambridge -- also has a church dedicated to All Saints.Llanfrechna in Monmouthshire also lies on the line of the River Lwyd.
