Beverley Town FC currently play in the Premier Division of the Humber Premier League. One of their opponents are Westella & Willerby FC, who are based in Willerby, East Riding of Yorkshire.
Willerby was the location of the Hull borough lunatic asylum (in nineteenth century parlance). Newcastle also chose an out of town site for its asylum, which opened in 1864 in Gosforth.
Melksham, Wiltshire, also has been -- in fact it still is -- a location for the manufacture of beehives.
The above-bolded settlement was owned, until Henry VIII's Dissolution of the Monasteries, by Amesbury Abbey; the estate of which foundation passed, post-Dissolution, to Edward Seymour, 1st Earl of Hertford.Beanacre in Wiltshire was also once administered by the Hundred of Melksham.
Kettlewell is on the Dales Way and Rights of Way connect the village to Nidderdale and the village of Arncliffe in Littondale.
