The market town of Wimborne Minster, Dorset (often referred to as Wimborne) is also the name of the Church of England Parish Church in the town. The Minster has existed for over 1,300 years and is recognised for its unusual chained library. This is one of only a few - estimated to be fourteen - surviving chained libraries in the world). Another one is at St Peter's Church, Wotton Wawen, Warwickshire.
