Bontnewydd in Gwynedd also lies on the line of the River Wnion.
This Bontnewydd seems highly obscure vis-a-vis present-day references; although -- "you should forgive me" -- there was a station of that name not far east of Dolgellau, on the Morfa Mawddach -- Dolgellau -- Ruabon line. However; Wales holds something of a variety of Bontnewydds or Bont Newydds: out of those, I'll go for Bontnewydd, Ceredigion -- six miles north-west of Tregaron.Bontnewydd in Gwynedd also lies on the line of the River Wnion.
Sawston, Cambridgeshire -- between Cambridge and Saffron Walden -- also has a pub called the White Lion.Kildwick in North Yorkshire also has a church that is dedicated to St Andrew.
