156434 is in btw. (Arrived Glasgow Works 18/01/10, expected out 5/2/10)
Yes, these are crewed by edinburgh though glasgow central will work them shortly too. There's just not enough 156's to go round, with the twice hourly kilmarnock service now in operation.
I have heard that the Class 314 will remain in service until 2019 with some sort of refresh due soonhock:.
Where'd you hear that?
New saltire signage going up between Glasgow Queen Street and Airdrie rapidly!
With Gaelic at random stations! Carntyne, Shettleston and Easterhouse (those areas with huge numbers of Gaelic speakers) all have Gaelic translations on the signs for some reason. Strangely, Garrowhill and Blairhill do not seem to warrant such signage and only have the English.
I think Sunnyside also has Gaelic signage, but I only saw that driving past the station today so I did only get a quick glance. I decided looking at the road was a better idea in this instance.

Yet another amazing waste of taxpayers cash and a debatable use of a minority language that has little relevance outwith the west highlands and island.

According to the Railway Herald 156445 carries the Gaelic translation of the ScotRail slogan, the first unit to do so.
