I’ve done a forum search and can’t see this anywhere.
Has anyone come into contact with this website?
it exists to allow people to both buy and sell existing tickets to/from others in line with NRCOT.
In its words:
Whilst I seem to remember that the NRCOT allows ticket reselling of wholly unused tickets so long as it’s not for more than the face price, I see certain risks with this.
Given passengers can’t generally interrogate an E ticket, how can one be sure that a non-advanced ticket has not yet been used (e.g. a day single return/period return bought on day of issue and resold the same day)
I’m sure there may be other risks with this too. E.g., how can one be sure the E ticket is not a fake? The website says this:
It’s one thing buying a ticket from a friend or colleague, but I’d be wary of a stranger.
Perhaps I’m overthinking this.
Maybe the website itself is selling tickets which have been pre-checked – ie can confirm and guarantee that the Aztec code is legitimate but what if it’s used by the seller after uploading?
Whose responsibility is it if a fake is being sold and you wind up in the hands of a TOC investigation for using one?
These are its Ts&Cs.

3. Nature of the Service
- SaveMyFare facilitates the resale or transfer of travel tickets.
- The contract for the ticket is between the buyer and the seller, not SaveMyFare.
- SaveMyFare does not guarantee travel, service quality, or acceptance of the ticket by the carrier.
