One of the cats just fell in the toilet. They don't like embarrassing themselves cats. He's got a right cob on now.
Mind you I would too if I had to clean myself with my tongue

Now then, our three old cat takes a pee sitting on the toilet seat. Not only that but he can also turn on the tap with his nose in order to have a drink.

However he's not as smart as he thinks he is given that he was smacking a wasp round the head on Friday night. The wasp got his own back.

That's brilliant. I'll excuse the wasp sting incident because I got into bed with a wasp once and it stung me three times before I realised what was happening, but a cat using the toilet and switching the tap on? That is a very clever animal.
I've got a video of one of ours playing pool on our mini pool table but he sometimes pots the black too soon and he uses his paws instead of a cue so not that clever.

Whilst I'm sorry that you were stung by a wasp it would have been more interesting if the wasp had been substituted for a woman.

I've never been stung by a woman but my wonderful and amazing wife can kick like a mule. Indeed she does it for fun.

Must work well on really cold nights! :D

Assuming that my wife is not working nights, as I climb into bed she will often remark "god your feet are cold"

My reply is always "you don't have to call me God in bed dear".

My wonderful love of my life falls for it every time. She then kicks like a mule.

You know that thing cats do when you stroke their backs and their ar*e and tails go up?
Well I wonder if you could harness that energy and have a row of cats with perhaps a plank arrangement on top, how many it would take to lift a car? It doesn't have to be a big car, just maybe an original Mini or something.
I haven't worked out what this could be used for yet.

I don't think the East German Trabant was all that heavy so perhaps they could lift that?

Cats are not the only thing that see's its tail go up when its stroked.

It would be more efficient to cut out the intermediate stage and just use several hands to lift the car and leave the cats to do what they always do - plot the massacre of all humans.

They need to be kept busy Dale, we've got enough things to worry about.

My internet connection has less power tonight than one tail lifting cat, a beaver with ME and half an ageing otter.

I've had a fairly successful day.

Got a replacement hard drive for my laptop (much cheaper than expected) and had it fitted, Ubuntu installed and up and running in half an hour.

Saved the life of a bumblebee than was stuck in the lace curtains.

I love bumble bees and encourage them into my garden. They love my foxgloves at the moment. WASPS they're another story.

Very good. Always good to save bees. I had one in the van today which I rehoused in the bushes behind where I park.
It's nice to know you've got lace curtains too.

It can cause that if you rub it too fast I think.

Which presumably means one may be wearing it near a certain place which in turn means they could be looking through open curtains?

You might want to look out of that window again.

I've just come  off the phone to a wonderful old friend of mine from my Uni days. I could tell you a wickedly funny story about curtains and Greater Manchester police but it would be an instant ban!

My Aunty Sylvia used to work in a lace factory in Nottingham and then later on my sister-in-law ended up living there after it was converted to flats.

I don't know if this is of any use to the conversation however.
