You should have seen and heard him around 5pm yesterday, I let him out to stretch his wings over Paignton and he went like a typhoon

A giant squid with wings called Kev? That's got to be pretty rare they're usually named something like Cyril or Molly the Mollusc.

Yup, hands up, I was getting Kev the Kraken mixed up with Yvonne the Yalungur, easily done as they're almost the same spelling, a flying octopus ... pah!

No it was here. I had my other half taking photos of every sign with Otter on it that she could see. ;)

Was St Mary really like an otter?

It's a pity Coleridge didn't write -

In Ottery St Mary did Kubla Khan
A stately pleasure-dome decree:
Where Otter, the sacred river, ran
Through caverns measureless to man

Ah that's really nice.
In all honesty I don't think Ottery is that nice really. The surrounding countryside is beautiful but the town itself is a little on the grotty side.
Otterton however is very nice. See below.

I came across a company called OtterBox, I didn't realise that otters could play cricket

They make coffins for otters. Talk about a niche market; they don't come much nicher than that. They should diversify and cater to the weasel, stoat and polecat sectors.

Including the wrongly placed semicolon?

Ah you see, I'm such a polite chap that I overlooked that minor error so as not to draw attention to your momentary lapse, whereas you totally humiliated me by mentioning my Kev 'the flying squid' Kraken faux pas, oh damn, damn, damn, now I've mentioned it, on top of that Kev was probably a damp squid as well

One of the cats just fell in the toilet. They don't like embarrassing themselves cats. He's got a right cob on now.
Mind you I would too if I had to clean myself with my tongue

Didn't get time unfortunately. It happened as quick as a flush.
Shame. It would've been useful as leverage against the cat next time it started complaining that it hadn't been fed in the last twenty seconds.

He thinks he's an otter.

You could hardly expect him to pose while you took a picture.

I've been on Dartmoor working so I missed all the above, anyway the cat seems to be dry now.
We've had a friends Collie to look after this weekend though and last night it woke us up by barking at the hamster at 1am and then at nothing in particular at 4am, perhaps there was an otter standing on our cob wall? (sorry TheEdge)
I thought pets were meant to be relaxing anyway?
