I was reading a old rail magazine the other day, and there was a piece regarding the price of infrastructure renewal, projects etc etc.
Now it says in the UK we are a lot more expensive than our european counterparts, and a lot slower at track work.
Could this be down to the 'good' wage a average railway gets compared to his european friend?.
