At an end of a single-track section leading to Stansted Airport, off of the West Anglia Main Line?
That's so near I will give it to you. In fact the double track extends round the south to east chord as far as the 1900 yard single track runnel under the airport runway. The tunnel is Coopers Lane Tunnel and Coopers Lane Junction is at the far end, where the track is doubled again on approach to the airport terminus. It seems to be forgotten in statistics on the internet - Wikipedia doesn't include it in the list of UK railway tunnels at all. It's a bored single track tunnel on a curved alignment with (of course) no vent shafts. Just as well it didn't exist in the steam age!

Your green aspect for the next question.

To the nearest minute (or second if anybody knows or is willing to try; I'll accept nearest minute), what is the current record for the Tube Challenge?
