You are correct with Coast Starlight Seattle to Los Angeles - Sunset Limited does end in LA but doesn't start in Washington DCSunset Limited must end on the West Coast too. Probably Los Angeles again but the starting point eludes me. I will go with Washington DC
Hmmm - how about New York. You are correct with Coast Starlight Seattle to Los Angeles - Sunset Limited does end in LA but doesn't start in Washington DC
Wow if that is correct I don’t think I would have guessed that.New Orleans for the start of Sunset Limited
You are correct - New Orleans is the start of Sunset LimitedNew Orleans for the start of Sunset Limited
You are on the right lines (no pun intended)So at a guess since you already had two terminating west coast and one starting south and one starting west coast you will have gone for something else. I doubt Chicago as I know the named trains from there so I am going to suggest East Coast?
You are correct sir - it does start in New York - well doneI will go further south than Boston but north of DC by saying New York New York
Is the correct answer - Swinton Manchester to be precise. Main pick up for tours was always Manchester Victoria. The tours coordinator was John Wade who now runs Heritage Shunters Trust at Rowley. I was the Sales officer at one time.Northern Counties Transport Society?? Not sure about HQ but I am going to guess somewhere in Manchester.
Also a total guess: GWR Bristol?
