The "Hush-Hush" Locomotive - LNWR No. 10000, built in 1930, then rebuilt as an A4 Pacific for the LNER in 1936?

I think it was unofficially called "Pegasus"

The course of which river was altered in the 1960s to allow the re-alignment of the adjacent GN main line [and consequent higher speeds], and at which location?

On what line could one once have travelled in a Pullman car on what became the London Underground and what would have been the longest journey?

Correct - in fact some trains started at Verney Junction, well to the north of Aylesbury

What was the name of the partly built station between Chadwell Heath and Romford. Work started on its construction in early 1900 but was abandoned later that year after the platforms were built. The construction work was subsequently demolished and there are no remains of it today.
