Surely when talking about the world, you would have to define a point where it is most easterly as due to the world being round, you could in theory go east from Ness Point in Lowestoft and End up in Holyhead.

There is a defined most Easterly point, well multiple actually. Any land lying on the 180th meridian is the furthest East you can go from Greenwich Meridian, there are 6 of them. And they are also all the most Westerly point for the same reason.

To be somewhat pedantic, as is often my want, would the upgrading in 2011 from Grade II to Grade I be as a direct result of the that award being given to the magnificent edifice of 55 Broadway which straddles that particular London Underground station ?

The offices above the station at 55, Broadway are also Grade 1 listed preserving 1930s art deco features.

The Wolverton and Stoney Stratford steam tramway of 3 foot 6 inch gauge was taken over by the London and North Western Railway in 1921, prior to the "Big Four" reorganisation and as such, became part of the London, Midland and Scottish Railway until final closure in 1926.

Sorry, but as far as I know, Cadeby Light Railway closed in 2005.

I visited on several occasions when I lived in Leicestershire, and even met the Revd Teddy Boston on one occasion.

As I remember, his layout didn't have a dual-gauge railway.
