So although I originally was thinking of the reversal at Falsgrave on the Scarborough-Whitby line, Mvann is also correct with Templecombe to access the S & D. So Templecombe is the winner.

The present timetable table no. 186 contains one of my local lines Redhill-Tonbridge line.
In the past it was part of the North Downs Line Reading- Tonbridge service which was contained within the WR set of timetables.
The service up to around 1991 or 1992 the service was worked by Reading based DMUs

It's not the one I'm thinking of. The one I'm thinking of is not a reworking of a past service. It is the Same service, with more or less the same station bank, but simply renumbered to a higher number.
