Northern Trainee Conductor - General Discussion

Hey everyone, is anyone starting the Manchester course on Monday 10th November?

They wanted me to start on that date but I wanted to give my current employer the full 3 months notice period (didn't want to burn all my bridges with them) so I'm starting on 2nd February. There was another woman who also got the job on the same day as me and she said that her job had a 1 week notice period so there's a good chance she will start on that date, her name is Sophie.

I have an interview next week for trainee conductor.. can anyone remember how many questions and what they asked in the 1 to 1? It would be a huge help - Thanks!

Pretty sure I read that it's mostly STAR based questions. E.g. tell me about a time .....etc
So I would suggest to finding basic interview questions and prepare for them. Hopefully someone replies with better information.

Finally got my assessment date!

Glad it's an hour away and not 2-3 hours like they originally told me
