I've joined the forum to provide an update on Cottam railway station which I've not been able to find while lurking without an account.
Things have been very quiet since this update on the cost:
The prospect of the long-awaited suburban station scheme hitting the buffers came just days after the government announced it was giving Lancashire County Council £28.4m to get it off the drawing board.
However, rather than amounting to a green light for the new station, the LDRS learned the Treasury’s largesse fell far short of the approximately £55m that it is now estimated will be needed to deliver the decade-long vision. The price tag was previously put at £24m five years ago
I can't find much after this update and will provide any if there's some to share. It does appear that this very long running saga isn't going to produce anything to be constructed any time soon.

It will last approximately 2 years and will inevitably cause some disturbance and local traffic disruption at times. We aim to keep it to a minimum wherever possible and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
This is the current thread for the Camp Hill line stations - the discussion thread linked in #1 has been closed for almost 3 years now.
Plus, it may be worth reopening the Charfield thread now that it's going ahead.

The local MP discussed the new project open dates:
We were promised it would be here in 2025. Now we're looking at 2028/29 at the earliest

Mentioned several times. Another of those projects with lots of enthusiasm but no shovels wielded as yet.

I have a watch list, Cheadle is on it, when they start digging I get interested. Then again they started work on White Rose and look where that is presently!
Cardiff Parkway is / was a private proposal and is listed in #1.
Deeside (Deeside Industrial Park/Northern Gateway) was previously funded under the New Stations Fund round 3. Nothing happened and no announcements were made about delay / cancellation so I removed it from #1.
As for the other five:
Proposals for new stations have been identified by a number of reports and studies including;
Cardiff Capital Region Metro proposals.
SWWITCH Rail Strategy (November 2013).
New Rail Stations Prioritisation – Stage 1 Assessment May 2017.
South East Wales Transport Commission report Nov 2020.

Initial work on five of the south east stations will begin later this year, with construction on two of them beginning in 2029.
While no timescales have been announced, it is expected that Magor and Undy will be the first station to be completed.
No hurry then. Just some future jam for Sir Keir to announce as part of his visit. Beware of potential U-turns in the road ahead.

It lost some of the formatting in copying and pasting. For example 'Aberdare to Hirwaun line' should have the following three lines inset. Ditto Abertillery line then station. Tower Colliery is an extension of the Aberdare to Hirwaun proposed line at an even later date. And I'm sure I sorted the South Wales then miscellaneous stations into alphabetical order.

It is stated that the Camp Hill line stations are expected to open on 19 March. There is a post on the National Rail website for Pineapple Road stating this. The linked thread in #1 has this link and a link to a WMR timetable pdf.
Update 20 February, I checked on National Rail:
Only Pineapple Road has the 19th March date. Kings Heath and Moseley Village just say during 2026. As do Darlaston and Willenhall.
In the announcement from last summer there was funding to develop the new SWML station (and much more) But not enough to construct them all. There now is. And Magor will be build first.

Rail Network Enhancement Pipeline (RNEP) schemes – funding confirmed
Scheme: New station at Wellington
Description: Building a new station at Wellington, that will provide new connections to regional centres, supporting economic growth and planned housing in the area. This supports significant expansion plans for the town and the new station and services will be critical to allowing local people to access jobs at major employment centres such as Exeter.
This is from the West Yorkshire Combined Authority website, which makes it clear that the new Elland station will not be on the site of the former station!
What other locations for the station have been considered?
Three locations have been considered including the proposed location. (1) A location east of Lowfields Way off the Elland Riorges Link and (2) a location north of Exley Lane which was the site of the former station, closed in 1962. These two locations were discounted at option selection stage. (1) was discounted due to the need to acquire third party land and the limited availability of land for car parking . (2) was discounted due to the need to purchase third party land and a less desirable connectivity to the access package and highway network.
Where will the proposed new Elland station be located?
The proposed new station at Elland would be located off Lowfields Way on the existing Calder Valley line. Due to engineering, environmental and operational constraints and the availability of land, the location of the proposed station is preferred and the most appropriate. The station platforms would be positioned on the existing embankments at an elevated level, with lift and stepped access provided from the car park level.
One correction for the video above. It was mentioned that trains will be every 30 minutes at Charfield, same as Yate. I believe it will only be hourly, same as Cam & Dursley, due to lack of capacity on the route
