Please, please, please make it a unit that receives a 'Trainbow' vinyl each year…To pick up the theme of large Scottish companies that meet SNP approval, I’m sure Abellio would love to have Stagecoach as a name on one of their trains!

Well me and @fishquinn both hate the name and its sounds more appropriate on that PC but otherwise 43003 had the creator of the GWR and Charles Rennie Mackintosh is just Hellfire. 43015 should be named 'Haymarket' because 47715 was named 'Haymarket' as well. If that makes it any more clearer. Why? Can you explain?
Something being “hellfire” is a long way from being a sensible reason.Well me and @fishquinn both hate the name and its sounds more appropriate on that PC but otherwise 43003 had the creator of the GWR and Charles Rennie Mackintosh is just Hellfire. 43015 should be named 'Haymarket' because 47715 was named 'Haymarket' as well. Definetly a 'No' from me! The names should reflect Scottish people/culture, not people who were born/married into the House of Windsor!Lady Diana Spencer was a regular on the Aberdeens, as was St Cuthbert (named after the Co-op?).
For the HSTs, wouldn't it be good to have a Royals series?
Duke of Rothesay & Duchess of Rothesay
Earl of Strathearn & Countess of Strathearn
Earl of Dumbarton & Countess of Dumbarton
Both good choices.....Doddie Weir and Bill McLaren
I guess all of the name plates will be bi-lingual.
Put one version on each side - it works elsewhereI guess all of the name plates will be bi-lingual.

The surname "Weir" gave me an idea - wouldn't it be nice to name one after the late Tom Weir? I suppose this will probably go over the heads of our younger viewers, but I used to love watching the re-runs of his "Weir's Way" programmes on late night TV when I was in my teens.Doddie Weir and Bill McLaren
How about Scottish Singers and Groups
Amy Mac Donald
Dougie Maclean
The Proclaimers
Runrig
Barbara Dickson
plenty more to chose from
Desperate Dan would probably be a good one too, and he's a character that has a wider audience within the UK. Did Oor Wullie ever grace the side of a locomotive, or am I havering?I hope they don't go fort anything hidebound or stuffy like long defunct regiments or rivers or politicians and they use it to have a bit of fun and something that reflects who we are as a country.

'Gordon Brown' & 'Tony Blair'? Please NO!!! Would be amusing to see then at either end of the same set, mind you...If you're going for celebrities...
"Glen Michael" and "Palladin"
"Francie" and "Josie"
Perhaps career changes?
"Emma Peel" and "Olenna Tyrell"
Scottish Prime Ministers?
"Gordon Brown"
"Tony Blair"
I think there were 6 others.

Think some of the names are getting a bit daft now.
