Abellio Greater Anglia:
Great Eastern:
From Sunday 31st May 2015, TFL Rail will take over the running of all Great Eastern Metro
services between Liverpool Street and Gidea Park / Shenfield from Abellio Greater Anglia.
Only minor timetable changes will occur initially.
From Monday 1st June 2015, London Overground Rail Operations Ltd will take over the running
of all services between Romford and Upminster from Abellio Greater Anglia. No changes will
take place at the timetable change but LO will operate the Monday to Friday service until 22:00
from when they take over the service.
West Anglia:
From Sunday 31st May 2015, London Overground Rail Operations Ltd will take over the running of all
services between Liverpool Street and Chingford / Enfield Town / Cheshunt (via Seven Sisters) from
Abellio Greater Anglia.
Changes to the timetable will be limited, except on Sundays where the following changes will take place:
An additional all stations service every 30 minutes will operate between Liverpool St and Cheshunt via Seven
Sisters, which will give intermediate stations between Liverpool St and Edmonton Green a more frequent service
of every 15 minutes.
Hertford East services are diverted to/from Stratford and the Cambridge-Stratford service is diverted to/from
Liverpool St. This means that two services each hour will operate between Liverpool St and Cambridge.
Stratford, Ponders End, Brimsdown, Enfield Lock and Waltham Cross will have a more frequent service of
every 30 minutes.
Main Line and Rural:
Two additional summer-dated services will run in each direction between London and
Norwich on Sundays until 27th September.
The through summer Saturday services from London to Great Yarmouth will not operate this year. Instead
there will be eight additional non-stop summer-dated services each way between Norwich and Great
Yarmouth until 5th September.
East Coast:
From 1st March 2015 operation of the InterCity East Coast franchise transferred to InterCity Railways Limited,
under the name Virgin Trains East Coast. More information can be found at

London Overground:
On 1st June 2015 London Overground will take over stopping services from Liverpool Street to Enfield
Town, Cheshunt (via Seven Sisters) and Chingford most train times will be unchanged.
On 31 May 2015 London Overground will also take over services between Romford and Upminster,
including a later finish for weekday trains (up to 2200).
North Yorkshire Moors: An enhanced daily service will operate to and from Whitby of five
trains (Monday to Saturday) and four trains (Sundays) in each direction until 1st November.
TFL Rail: TFL Rail is the new operator taking over Metro services between London Liverpool Street
and Shenfield. This is the first stage of the Crossrail project currently underway, a new rail service for
London and the South-East which, when completed, will link Reading in the West to Shenfield in the.
East, along with Abbey Wood, through new tunnels being constructed under central London. Crossrail
is a joint venture between Transport for London(TFL) and the Department for Transport (DfT). By 2019
Crossrail will connect the City, Canary Warf, the West End and Heathrow Airport to commuter areas.
East and west of the Capital. From May 2015 Crossrail will commence running as TFL Rail between
London Liverpool Street and Shenfield taking over services currently operated by Abellio Greater
Anglia. The existing trains on the route will be used but will be gradually replaced by a brand new fleet
of Crossrail trains from 2017.
Crossrail services will be introduced as follows;
May 2018 Heathrow to London Paddington (mainline platforms) when Crossrail takes over the existing
Heathrow Connect service.
December 2018 Paddington (Crossrail platforms) to Abbey Wood
May 2019 Paddington (Crossrail platforms) to Shenfield
December 2019 Full through services including services to Reading
Arriva Trains Wales: A new enhanced service will operate between Shrewsbury& Aberystwyth in
both directions on Monday to Saturday & Sundays. (Table 76)
A new revised Monday to Friday timetable will operate of the Heart of Wales Line which
includes 2 new services Table (129)
ScotRail: Sunday services commencing 17th May to Newcraighall, Paisley Canal and stations
between Bellgrove and Springburn. 0520 Glasgow-Oban and 0521 Oban-Glasgow run Addionally
Saturdays from 23 May. Glasgow-Edinburgh travellers will need to re-plan their journeys during the
closure of Winchburgh Tunnel from 13th June to 26th July see

Despite all the months of planning that's gone into the Farnworth Tunnel rebuild, the e-NRT is showing a normal timetable at weekends. Table 94 is showing an hourly train service on Saturdays and Sundays between Blackburn - Bolton - Manchester, when in fact there are no trains at all at weekends until October.
Crewe also handily doubles up as Anglesey.
