Video interview done - also only got 1 minute to prepare. Questions are straightforward, prefer that to in person! Good luck everyone

I reckon there will still be an in person interview also
That’s the next stage DMI - in person interviews with the driver manager

I thought I’d prefer the video as well but think I like in person better as it’s easier to bounce off someone if they try and probe your answer and also framing it using STAR

It’s a bit strange that some candidates only get 1 minute to prepare while others have 12.5 minutes. That’s a huge difference and it doesn’t really feel like a level playing field.

They may have different ways of conducting the video interview depending on how you scored on previous test etc, I personally feel anything more than 1 minute I would start over complicating the questions etc

From what I know I think it relates to the type of questions you get asked as they are random. If you have more competency based questions you get longer prep and more strength based such as “tell us what you would do” then shorter time to prep

Hi all, hope everyone having a nice Sunday I just completed my video interview it only ask me one question lol did anyone else get this?
That will be the inital one in the application method. Depending how they do it, will get emails and invites to do the assessment tests on the website, then if pass all those do the main video interview stage.

I’ve just done both the SJT & the error checking test back to back, and looks like if you fail a test, you receive an email telling you this straight away (from experience lol).If no email, looks like you’re in the clear so far.

Took around 4 days after my error checking assessment to get a next stage email, so all going well you should get it soon

Anyone done the video interview after the error checking and heard back? Have done the error checking test yesterday but haven't received an email to the next stage but I'm guessing that's good news as looks like takes a few days to hear back if successful - just looking to see if people have heard back after the video interview.

No, I imagine with the closing date being Sunday, you'll probably find people that submitted then are only doing the online tests now. In theory if they wait till last minute to sit each they would have until next week. Doubt they'll even look at videos until then. Just a guess on my part though.

Each candidate is 18 mins of footage to go through. Depending on how many have gotten this far, that’s a lot of footage to go through.

I’d go on a limb & say no news is good news & we’ll be lucky to hear anything across this or next week.

(Hopefully I’m wrong & we all get emails for interviews this evening :D)

Yeah I suspect it’ll be a few weeks at least. Depending on how they go about it - they might wait till they’ve reviewed them all or maybe they’ve set a scoring threshold and will let people know once they’ve reviewed it.

what was the error checking test - was it data and tables or was it shapes and fault finding?

You will get 6 questions, get some time to prep then answer, just your usual interview type questions
Hello mate,
I’ve got mine tomorrow, can you remember any of the questions? Would like to be as prepared as possible. Thanks

Hey guys was just wondering when I applied I did not upload any certificates for Maths and English im 27 years old, and I havent got the proof im pretty sure i need to contact examiners for these certificates as I do remember passing them. They still proccesed me so far through the Ai chat bot questions, then video interview question and now have to do SJT is it safe to assume that they will require for certificates later on or will they disqualify me from proceding any further now?

They may ask you to upload them at a later date, doubt they would disqualify you but instead give you the opportunity if required to upload them

Thats what I think usually all the other TOCs I have applied haven't asked just ask for confirmation you have passed them. And the structure is usually when they do medicals and backgrounds checks they check for qualifications certificate. But thank you for re-assurence!
