Hi all. Just have done interview chat and been asked to do video interview. Some people say it is one question? Do I need to prepare myslef for that? For SJT how have you done it-tablet, laptop, mobile?

Yes, one question. It's easy enough. SJT & Error checking I did it on my PC the big screen did me good I think not having to scroll up and down. Yes, one question. It's easy enough. SJT & Error checking I did it on my PC the big screen did me good I think not having to scroll up and down. Don't overthink the video interview like I did, just open it on your phone and talk away.
Same as above don’t over think it just crack on, I also done the test on big screen to avoid having to scroll up and down too much

Well looks like I failed the online test stage, just completed it and immediately got an email saying I didn’t meet the required benchmark and to try again in the future. Quite the surprise being honest as thought the answers were pretty common sense however clearly not to be on this occasion

Question: I Failed the 3rd assessment. When it got to the question where the vessel name changed to bulk* (with a code to be checked) was the code the one you check the main text for? Rather than the vessle name?

No, just completed tonight. The replies were instantaneous for the other tasks so wondered why the delay. Perhaps as it’s the last of the batchNot heard anything, did you get an email?
Completed them all yesterday and got almost immediate replies until the last, error checking assessment. It doesn’t give you feedback, but I am honestly somewhat surprised at the kickback, clearly I must have missed something obvious and the only thing I can’t check now is if the most likely and less likely sliders change direction during the test. If they did I made a grave error. But for me the answers are pretty obvious, but clearly as I say not to be on this occasion. There’s always another time

Also I’m currently on holidays abroad so had to do it on the phone as again they want it all done within 48 hours! No excuses but would have been nice to have a PC.SJT

Completing it on a phone definitely would have made it more difficult I reckon. Especially as you couldn’t go back and change / check answers once you’d moved on to the next question.SJT

Just completed the video interview. It honestly pretty easy, very standard question. I think it’s just to make sure you are a real person and see who you say you are. Many people would be put off by having to do an AI video interview, so a sift step
Maybe a silly question : but do LNER have assessment center days like other TOC's? like the OPC ones?
or is it straight to a DMI after the online tests and online interviews?
According to the website,after the online tests, it’s a video interview, then onto DMI, OPC assessment test then medical
Just finished the error checking test. I honestly thought it was a bit easy, certainly in comparison to Crosscountrys cube abomination.
I answered at a guess around 30-35 and I'm pretty confident I didn't get any wrong or miss anything so will be interested to see if i've made it through, I've got to think so.

I have just completed the video interview. I received an email saying thank you for completing, however, I have not yet received an email to the next stage. After the written interview I received the email for the video interview instantly. It has now been over ten minutes with no other email. I am assuming that I have not gotten to the next stage. Did everyone receive an email instantly after completing the video interview?

I think it might be silence now until after the closing date. Speaking to an lner driver today and he was saying they will probably wait until the closing date and until everyone has taken the sift assesments then look at all the results and take the top scoring to the next stageOut of interest, has anyone received an email after finishing the error checking? If so, what did it say?
I've not had anything since finishing it

I'm really frustrated as I wasn't finding it particularly hard, but mid way through the test my page started buffering with the timer still running. I must've lost at least a minute! Have reached out to recruitment to see if there's anything that can be done, but I think I know what they'll say. Gutted.

Did you get an instant reply telling you that you have failed? Would be good if recruitment could give you a redo due to the technical issues.
