Shame they don't resurrect Euston Down Side Carriage siding shed.

It's at the wrong end of the route surely? You ideally want your fleet to start in service at the origins of the morning service. Of course the Euston facility might be demolished for HS2 later in any case...

Tony Miles has stated that the 350/3 are may to enter service with TPE to likely boost the Scottish services during the commonwealth games .

I think this is actually the case and not just a rumour... I will try and find it.

Looks like 350370 and another UID 350/3 (probably 350371) are coming over tonight/early hours tomorrow morning to Northampton.

Unfortunately, Maps has stopped.

Doesn't matter anyway - tanking facilities are being installed at Camden at the matter. It'll be nice to have a fresh(ish) unit with working bogs going to Crewe - mainly to stop a) the punters whinging about the lack of bogs, and b) to stop control whinging about bog stops at MKC!!!

Presumably though these will be for units visiting Camden between the peaks I didn't think anything was left at Camden overnight?

Latest news....370 is now resident in Bletchley Carriage Sidings
371 is still at Kings Heath depot
372&373 will be delivered on Saturday 31st, these two will undergo tests coupled to a 350/1 unit.
372 is scheduled to move to Crewe after testing to join 368/369, this makes room for 374 which is being delivered on June 23rd.

Fair enough. The December timetable change is getting closer and closer though, fingers crossed they'll be in use then as planned some time ago. Looking forward to the prospect of more red pennage to come in the Midlands, running rather low of winners to get in the area!

372 is visible from the Crewe-Stafford line at the South end of the shed at LNWR with at least half a coach outside the shed. Its on the same road as 368 and 369.

Sorely tempted to check when the Games are on and get up north for them, even though they'll be in use much closer to home in a few months...

350374 had its first outing today, and will be out again on Wednesday (02/07) doing the usual Northampton-Stafford run.

375/376 should arrive in the third week of July with the final Desiro of this kind arriving in the UK right at the end of the month.

Stock swap today....373/4 moved up to Crewe for impending sub-lease to TPE, 368/9 returned to Northampton, 368 requires attention to a fault which is affecting its compressor....

Had a message earlier regarding the 350/3 fleet

-3 units are going on hire to Transpennine from the coming weekend, first for 110mph testing and then for strengthening for Commonwealth games

-9 diagrams will go live at December TT change with 7 on West coast strengthening/extra services and 2 to release 323s for x city work. The final unit is maintenance spare.

It actually says the 323s which operate between Wolverhampton, Birmingham and Coventry so could be either as as far as I'm aware no 323s go to Cov during the day. Its just one late in the evening to stable there.

If I recall correctly the 350/3s are all for West Coast Euston based services BUT 2 will allow older 350s to cascade to West Midlands services thus cascading two 323s onto the cross city line. I cannot remember but either the 350/1s Or the 350/2s are 100mph (as opposed to 110mph) and it is those that will be cascaded away from the services at the South end of the WCML. The 110mph capable 350s are for use on the WCML fast lines where they cause less obstrucion to the faster 390s (Pendolinos).

I bet its somewhere in this thread already but I could not find it. Correct me if I am wrong here (dont want dud info floating about).
